I’m Evelien—a strategist and behavioural designer who helps leaders and teams move from uncertainty to high-impact performance. My work focuses on turning complexity into clarity, designing leadership that’s human-centred and results-driven.
Over the last decade, I’ve worked across Europe, the Americas and Africa with global brands like Intel, FedEx, and General Motors, as well as South African leaders like Woolworths, Standard Bank. At Yoco—where I I built the Customer Insights & Experience function from the ground up—I contributed to scaling the customer base from 40,000 to 300,000 by embedding human-centred strategies and behavioural design.
I’ve also coached South Africa’s next generation—leading UCT’s Rowing Club to historic back-to-back Boat Race wins, breaking a 13-year winning streak held by the club coached by South Africa’s National U23 Head Coach and ending a 22-year losing streak by UCT. That same year, I coached for South Africa at the World University Championships in Rotterdam and became the first woman ever named UCT Sports Coach of the Year.
